Hi Andy, I posted earlier but the more I thought about it the more memories came flooding back, you were a great guy, friend and shipmate, I started to remember our escapades especially in Sydney and Brisbane, Breakfast Creek... or Sydney, the rocks and China town, maybe the BBQ king or that Spanish restaurant whose name slips my aging mind now. Then on to meet the lads in the Hotel and maybe bring the Irish band back to the ship. great days and you a great friend, staying with you before we cycled back to Ch-Ch. Sharing a couple of Brandies (Always the good stuff). How over the ten years we were together I can't remember you ever being angry, your easy come infectious smile.
Nothing... nothing was ever too much when it came to helping your shipmates.
When things got icky down the hold you never stood back with your hands on your hips watching me, but your hands as dirty as mine. We laughed so much, You slipping me a can of VB out of the stewards bar window. But definitely always that happy, gentle smile and tolerance. I started to remember how close you and I were and how it made those years sailing together so much easier. Like so many who knew you and some of the names on here I remember it was so great having your friendship and gentle heart in our lives. I haven't and will not ever forget you. If you were suffering I'm happy you're at peace now. You gave so much to all of us in an unassuming kind way. Thank you for being part of my/our live's. So long buddy.
