Alex MCNABB Obituary

McNABB, Alex (DSc FRSNZ). We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Alex. Adored husband to Yvonne, loved father and father-in-law to Anne and John, David and Elaine, John and Christine, Elizabeth, Andrew and Bronwyn. Grandfather to Gemma, James, Nelson and Melvin, and a proud great- grandfather to Ada and Milly. Loved by his extended family, with special thanks to Debbie and Nads for all their support. He will be remembered not only for his brilliant mind and scientific legacy but also for his athleticism, generosity and the deep encouragement he gave to generations of students, colleagues and athletes. Rest in love and peace. A service to celebrate Alex's life will be held on Saturday 19th July at All Saints Purewa, Meadowbank at 2.00pm.
