Alex DONN Obituary

DONN, Alex Kui Poi. Much loved father and father-in-law of Fiona and Ohad, Andrina and Alan, Gerald and Frances, and Sharyn and Michael. Beloved Goong Goong to Samuel, Jenifer, and Alicia, and Ye Ye to Ashley. Passed peacefully in his sleep on 15 September 2024. In lieu of flowers, donations to Stroke Foundation NZ would be appreciated. A celebration of Alex's life will be held on Saturday, 21 September at Romaleigh, 31 Ocean View Road, Northcote, Auckland. An interment will follow in Dunedin where he will be reunited with his beloved Jean. Messages to [email protected]

My deepest condolences to the family and extended family. It is with much sadness to learn of Uncle Alex's passing. I will remember him with fondness, and for his infectious laughter. Take comfort that Uncle is reunited with Aunty again, for it is the separation from a life partner that is so difficult to live with.
I wish you all strength.
My thoughts are with you all.
