Helen COUGHLIN Obituary

COUGHLIN, Helen Marjorie (nee McALARY) Formerly of New Liskeard, Ontario Peacefully on August 18, 2017 at Maple Grove Community at the age of 81. Beloved wife of Don Coughlin (married October 10, 1959). Proud mother of Doug (Marlene) and Kathy (Fred) Coughlin. Devoted grandmother of Leah, Kelsey, Paige and Brooke. Helen was known for her feistiness, her protective love of her family and a wonderful loyalty to her friends. A perfect day for her was watching Family Feud, Wheel of Fortune, enjoying a cigarette and a Rye, Kentucky Fried Chicken for lunch and ending the day with a phone call from her family. Helen was active in bowling and loved her time playing bingo. She was a volunteer with handicap children and received a letter of recommendation from Bill Davis for her dedication. Family and Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home "Brampton Chapel", 52 Main Street South (Highway 10), Brampton, on Friday, August 25, 2017 from 12-2 p.m. A Celebration of Helen's life will be held at 2 p.m. in the chapel.
