Albert MATTHEWS Obituary

MATTHEWS, Albert Charles (Charlie). Ex NZ Armed Forces, Malayan Emergency. Passed away peacefully on 12 February 2026, aged 87 years. Dearly loved son of Joseph and Laura Matthews of Greytown. Dearly loved brother, brother in law, uncle and great-uncle. Will be missed by his many lifelong friends. Beloved husband of Barbara. Sincere thanks to Kindred Hospital Staff for their care of Charlie. All communications to - 65 Mount Smart Road, Onehunga, Auckland. [email protected] A private cremation will be held. A ceremony at the Family Urapa will be held at a later date.
