Albert MACARTNEY Obituary

MACARTNEY, Albert Edward. Passed away peacefully at home on the 19th of August 2016, aged 91 years. Dearly loved and devoted husband of Betty, beloved father and father-in-law to Ann and Phil, Barb and Tony, Sue and Peter, Lyn and Paul, Allan and Darleen, and treasured Granddad of his 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Forever in our hearts. Special thanks to the caring staff at St Vincent Retirement Village for making Bert's last few years as comfortable as possible. A Service to celebrate Bert's life will be held at St Aidan's Church, corner of Ascot Avenue and Remuera Road, Remuera, on Wednesday the 24th of August at 1.30pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Neurological Foundation, PO Box 110022, Auckland Hospital, Auckland 1148 would be welcome.
