GIBBS, Albert Charles (Bert). Reg No 36033 5th Field Reg Gunner, on 27 January 2011 peacefully at Atawhai Assisi Hospital Hamilton. Dearly loved husband of the late Win. Dearly loved and respected father and father-in-law of Trevor and Janie (Te Awamutu). Loved grandfather (Grumpy) of Kristen and Chris Slade (Wellington), Peter and Fiona (Suffolk England), and Charlotte (Te Awamutu) and great-grandfather of Thomas and Sam; and Bella. The family wish to sincerely thank the staff of Tamahere Eventide and Atawhai Assisi Hospitals for their loving care of Bert over the past few years. A service celebrating Bert's life will be held at the Atawhai Assisi Chapel, Matangi Rd, Hamilton on Tuesday February 1st at 10am.
