Alan TRETHOWEN Obituary

TRETHOWEN, Alan Len (Alan). Passed away peacefully in Bay of Islands hospital 6pm on Sunday 8 September 2024, aged 72 years. Dearly loved husband of Jenny for 51 years. Loved foster father of many children and cherished Poppa of Nisha. Loved by many. A service to celebrate the life of Alan will be held at Russell Baptist Church on Wednesday 11 September 11am followed by burial at Long Beach Cemetery. Now praising God in the heavenly orchestra!

Alan and Jenny would visit the Church here in North Canterbury when they visited family in the South Island. Your visits were always very special for them and for us and your words of kindness when you came at a time of loss will always remain with me, Jenny. May your precious memories of Alan and the 51 years you had together remain with you and comfort you and all those you love and pray for. And may the sure and certain hope we share that we will see our loved ones again in His presence keep and comfort you and all your beautiful foster children and Nisha.
