Alan Steer Obituary

STEER, Alan Brian. On September 13, 2010 surrounded by his family, Alan peacefully passed away at Auckland Hospital. Loving husband of Valerie, beloved father of Tania and Tessa, inspirational father-in-law of Phil and Ray, and the most caring grandfather to Oliver, Peter, Brittany and Harrison. This strong, loving, fun and giving man will be dearly missed but never forgotten. A service for Alan will be held at All Saints Chapel, Purewa Crematorium, 4 Parsons Road, Meadowbank on Friday September 17 at 1.30pm to be followed by a private cremation. No flowers by request, but donations to the National Heart Foundation, PO Box 17160, Auckland would be appreciated or can be left in the foyer. STEER, Alan Brian. We deeply regret the passing of Alan. We will miss the fun and friendship and the abilities this multi talented man brought to every occasion. Our deepest condolences to Val and to Tania and Tessa and their families. Our thoughts are with you at this sad time Jeanette and Neil Miller, Karen and Stephen, Natalia and Joachim Pearson, Sheryl and Paul Graham.

STEER, Alan Brian. Passed away peacefully on September 10, 2010. In loving memory of our dear brother and brother-in-law of Jan and Alan (UK), Keith and Nanette (Australia), Terry and Norma (Cyprus), Trevor and Pip (UK), Susan and Robert (UK) and all their families. We will miss you terribly and you will remain in our hearts forever.

STEER, Alan. Went out of bounds on 13 September, 2010. As long time friends we enjoyed his great attitude, respect of others, cheeky humour and generosity. His calming influence on the golf course will be very sadly missed by Stuart and Steven Hanna.

STEER, Alan. Passed away 13 September 2010, but will never be forgotten, by the Huapai Mis- Hits and all his golfing buddies. May we see you on that big Golf Course in the sky where we will shake hands again on the 18th green. Will be dearly missed and remembered by all.
