Alan SMITH Obituary

SMITH, Alan Douglas. Passed away peacefully at MetLife Care Highland Park on 27 January 2026 aged 77 years. Beloved father of Andrew and Jacqueline. Much loved brother, uncle and poppa. A celebration of Alan's life will be held at Bucklands Beach Yacht Club, Ara-Tai Road Halfmoon Bay on Friday 30 January at 11 am, followed by a private cremation.

Dear Andrew and Jacqueline,
I was saddened to read of Alan's passing. I hope it can bring you comfort to know that he passed peacefully.
I am unable to come to Alan's 'Celebration of his Life' at the Yacht Club tomorrow but I hope that there is a lot of solace for you, your families and his friends.
I wish you both my sympathy at this time. Alan was a very kind man and is in my memories of our time spent together.
