Alan SMART Obituary

SMART, Alan Gordon. Dad, finally at peace. We have watched you struggle and seen how strongly you fought till the end. You were a brave man. We will miss you. Dearly loved husband of Narelle. Loved father of Jackie and Morgan, Andrew and Erica and Opa to Katelyn, Lily, Madison, Alex and Josephine. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Melanoma Foundation of NZ, PO Box 31-167 Milford or online at www.melanoma.org.nz/Give- Support/Donate-Online/. Alternatively, donations to Mercy Hospice Auckland, PO Box 47-963, Ponsonby would be welcome. Forever in our hearts. A Service for Alan will be held at All Saints Chapel, Purewa Cemetery, on Wednesday 18th December, at 1.30pm.

SMART, Alan Gordon. Passed away on 11th December 2013 at Remuera Rise Care Facility. Dearly loved twin brother and best buddy of Adrienne Greenwood, brother-in-law of Murray and much loved uncle of Kate, Craig and Simon, and their spouses Tim, Sarah, and Toni. You bore your illness with great courage Alan but now its time to rest. Goodbyes are not forever Goodbyes are not the end They simply mean I will miss you Until we meet again. Adrienne. A Service for Alan will be held at All Saints Chapel, Purewa Cemetery, 100 St Johns Road Meadowbank, on Wednesday 18 December, at 1.30pm.
