Alan SAWYER Obituary

SAWYER, Alan. Passed away quietly at home in San Diego USA, after a valiant battle with a brain tumor. His dearly loved wife and partner Holly by his side. Cherished Dad to Carrie, Josh, Ian and Kara and Bumper to Paton and Tag. Loved brother to Elaine, the late Heather, Vicki and Michael. We remember Alan's adventurous spirit and his love of the sea. May he find eternal rest like a ship anchored in a peaceful harbour. He will be deeply missed.

Oh I am so very sorry. I was shocked to learn this heartbreaking news. Allan was a great guy. I remember all the wonderful times we shared with Alan in ridgewood NJ. Sending loving thoughts.

Our Aloha goes to you Alan and your family Holly and kids,

We enjoyed some fun times in Hawaii aboard Local Hero and our boat, Swans Island, with you guys moored in our backyard on Kaneohe Bay. Never forget Holly's fresh baked scones while jettasing through the Alenuihaha channel. We wish we had accepted your offer to meet with you guy around the world. What a great life Alan has lived!
