Sorry to hear of Alan's passing. It was such a shock to us. We will miss our chats with him after the church service with culpa tea. Alan had a lovely cheeky sense of humour and a happy smile. Rev Alan did a lot for our family. Grandpa George Davidson funeral and Baptized Lynette, Bruce and me Pamela. Also He married my sister Lynette to Trevor Kenny, and took part in the service for my brother Bruce Olesen funeral. My Mum and Dad Keith and Audrey, have known Alan for about 50 Years. God Bless you All. Will thinking of you all on Tuesday. Love from the Beets Tauranga. Olesen's Rotorua, an Kenny Family's Rotorua.

Auntie Heather,Mike,Phil,Helen and Chris
So very sorry to hear of Uncle Alan's passing and our thoughts are with you at this time.So glad I had that cup of tea and very spirited conversation 2 years ago at Waiake. He spent so much time putting together the Family Tree - so we would all know the history and come to appreciate it.Linda and I were walking the track at the Scandrett property in January and I remember being very thankful that Alan had given us all in writing, the background to our Whanau.
