George Antonio Teixeira
1938 - 2026
George Antonio Teixeira was born on November 17, 1938 in São Caetano, Pico, Azores, passed away on January 1, 2026 in Santa Maria, California. He leaves behind a legacy of devotion to his family, his faith, hard work, and quiet strength.
He is survived by his wife Leoplodina, their two daughters Odette Pinheiro and Alda Miu (Steve), and three grandchildren Joseph Pinheiro (Madi), Stephanie Miu and Emily Miu. His life was defined by love, resilience, and the deep pride he carried for his family.
Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. followed by a Vigil Service at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, January 12, 2026 in the Chapel of Magner-Maloney Funeral Home. Mass will be 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at St. Mary of the Assumption Church. Interment will follow in the Santa Maria Cemetery, Original Section.
