JOHN, Alan Barckley. It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Alan Barckley John, who left us peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, April 2, 2025. Alan was a loving husband to Brenda, father to Rhian and Gareth, and grandad to Alice, Austin, Elena, and Baxter. A funeral service to honour Alan's life will be held at the Chapel of Christ the King, Selwyn Village, Point Chevalier, on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at 11 am. We invite all who knew and loved him to join us in celebrating his life and the joy he brought to our hearts.
