Alan GAUTIER Obituary
Gautier, Alan Robert. Died December 26, 2025 peacefully at home after a long battle with kidney failure. Beloved husband of Lyn and father of Adele, Nicole, Ian and Charlie; father-in-law to Nigel, Bryce, Rita and Kamylle; grandfather to Campbell, Jasper, Imogen, Grayden, Zoe, Charlotte and Kohen; great-grandfather to Farrah and baby Hensman. Alan courageously lived the latter part of his life with tenacity amid many challenges. We particularly acknowledge numerous achievements, milestones, and dedication in Alan's extraordinary career - he was a giant in the New Zealand airline industry from 1962 to 2025. We trust in God our Father and Jesus Christ our Saviour that we will see our dad in heaven. Funeral on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at 1 pm at St James Church in Mangere Bridge. Traditional funeral attire not required; dressy-casual welcome.

Like many others, I have much to thank Alan for. He was my boss at PanAm. His management skills were extraordinary, and his support of his staff and mentoring of managers made him a great leader. He will be missed and my thoughts are with the family at this difficult time.
