Alan EMPSON Obituary

EMPSON, Alan Jephson Howard (QSM). Passed away peacefully in Auckland Hospital surrounded by his family on 14th May 2024 in his 83rd year. Beloved husband and special friend of Bev. Forever cherished and adored father and father-in-law of Sue, Kate, Philip and Julia, Maria and Richard, Ross and Robyn. Especially loved and respected grandfather of Savannah, Jasper, Liam, Sydney, Chase, Tom, Harry, Olivia, Jack, Fin, Cate, Leighton, Grant and great grandchildren Archie and Grayson. A memorial service will be held on Friday, 24 May at 1.30 pm at St John's Anglican Church, Arawata St, Te Awamutu. All communications to the Empson family, P O Box 81, Te Awamutu 3840. Our sincere condolences to you all. Alan was a great man and i will miss him and his wisdom.

Alan was a great Waipa Councilor and had great respect for his community doing his best to represent them. I worked with him as a fellow Councillor for many years. He will be missed.
