We are saddened by this tragic news. Alan and Margaret became friends during their trips to Virginia Beach, VA and were guests in our home. Alan was a true gentleman and a great golf partner. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Margaret, Vanessa, and the boys.

Alan you are a truly nice guy. I have watched your growth and achievements in both your business and private life since you and Margaret came to Upper Hutt from your varsity days.Your demeanour has been very good towards all you met.In my case you were a good sounding board on many of lifes challenges and opportunities.Rerst in Peace Alan.
Margaret you had a wonderfull partner who was devoted to you and your family always. I am so sorry that over the last decade I didn't spend more time with Alan. Graeme and Susan Somerville
