Alan BICKERS Obituary

I was distressed to learn of Alans passing via the AMINZ Members up-date I received today. I had the pleasure of studying with Alan for our GradDipBusStuds at Massey University in the early 2000's. Alan was such an intelligent & interesting person with decades of experience. His warm sense of humour was amazing and he had all of us in hysterics after we completed the 1st Practicum in Palmerston North back in 2005. I will miss his wisdom & warmth.

Alan was a loyal supporter of my wife Carolyn while she was the principal of Tauranga Girls College. Sadly Carolyn passed away on 5 April 2023. I would like in her memory to thank Alan for his support of Carolyn and for the beautiful letter he wrote to her on her appointment to the UWCSEA Singapore. A good man deserving of the praise he is receiving. My thought go out to Jill and family.
