Ailsa JAMES Obituary

James, Ailsa Joan (Ailsa) (Nee Middleton). Passed away on the 18th September aged 95 after a brave battle with Parkinson's. Beloved wife of the late Kevin. Loved mother and mother in-law of Kerry and Rod leonard-Rogers, Lesley and Grant Rogers, Greg James and partner Ellen. Grandmother of Kane, Joni, Luke, Karl, Renee, Henry and Felicity (UK) and partners, plus her 12 treasured great grandchildren. Family are indebted to staff at Fairview Hospital for their wonderful care of Ailsa. A private memorial will be held at a later date

Kerry, Lesley and Greg - I am so sorry your Mum has now left you. It has been a difficult time for Ailsa and for all of her family over a long period now. She has served her Lord and her family very well and deserves a rest.
Ailsa was my friend for 35+ years. We spent a lot of time together - shopping, planning, travelling, talking and drinking lots of tea a well as being good next
door neighbours. I have missed her during the last few years without someone to share my joys and sorrows.
She gave me a fridge magnet which probably sums up our relationship -
"You'll always be my friend, you know too much".
Thank you for his amazing friendship, Ailsa. My to all the family.

Rip Ailsa you will be surely missed by all those that knew you I was a cleaner for you mum and dad in both houses in howick she will definitely be missed by her St Andrew's Presbyterian family in Howick my sincere condolences and sympathy to all the family thinking of you lot of love from Carol Duff née Grigg
