JACKSON, Ailsa Joan (formerly Thornton, nee Armstrong). WAAC 818201 WWII. Beloved wife of the late Donald Arthur Jackson, much loved Mother to Mark and Patricia, Craig and Helga, Bruce and Rachael. Loved Grandmother to four and Great Grandmother to seven. A family celebration of Ailsa's life has already been held, she will be missed by us all.

Dear Bruce and family
I have sadly just seen notice of Ailsa's sad passing. You may or not remember but your parents and my parents (Verna and Ian Duff) used to share many happy evenings together, usually with a drink or 2!! I will always remember Ailsa as a beautifully spoken and well groomed lady and together Mum and Ailsa were capable of getting into a bit of fun and double trouble!!!
