MILLER, Ailie Heather. Passed away on June 4, 2025, peacefully, surrounded by love; aged 80 years. Beloved partner of Alan Curreri, cherished sister and sister-in- law of Guy and Diane, and the late Keith, Simone and Clive. Mother of the late Mark Fox. Aunty of Carlos, Sonya, Tania and Troy. Ailie was a unique NZ style icon, her couture hats under the millinery brand Dollie Vardin were showcased at weddings and race meetings all over NZ and Australia. A loyal and creative inspiration to all her many friends. There will be a private cremation for Ailie and a memorial which will be announced at a later date. Fly high Ailie and know that you were loved.

I was taught millinery by Ailie back in 1991. She was an incredibly creative, stylish woman and made beautiful hats. I'm sorry to hear of her passing away. Thank you, Ailie - I had many, many years making hats thanks to you. To her partner and other family members, I'm sorry for your loss.
