JUNE GROVES Obituary

JUNE ROSLYN GROVES May 31, 1932 - August 16, 2016 On Tuesday, August 16, 2016, peacefully, after a six year battle with Dementia with Lewy Bodies. June was born in Montreal, the daughter of the late William Stanley and Katherine Veronica Groves. Predeceased by sister Viola May and brother George Stanley. June is survived by sisters Beverley Larsen Groves of Toronto, Heather (Pierre) Lague of Montreal, sister-in-law Glenys Groves of Lennoxville and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Thank you to the doctors and nursing staff at Maxville Manor for their superior care and compassion. As per June's wishes, no formal public service will take place. A private celebration of life is planned for a later date. In remembrance of June you may wish to make a donation to the Alzheimer Society of Canada. "Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there, I do not sleep. I am in a thousand winds that blow, I am in the softly falling snow, I am the gentle showers of rain, I am in the fields of ripening grain . I am in the morning hush, I am in the graceful rush Of beautiful birds in circling flight, I am the star shine of the night. I am in the flowers that bloom, I am in a quiet room. I am in the birds that sing, I am in each lovely thing. Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there. I did not die." - Mary Frye
