Adrienne ATKINSON Obituary
ATKINSON, Adrienne Noel. Peacefully on 28 January 2025, after a full life. Much loved wife and partner in adventure for 63 years of the late Arnold (A.B), dearly loved mother of Margie, Chris and partner Evan, loved sister of John and sister-in-law to Robyn, and of her late siblings, Jocelyn, Dianne, Nadine, Jan and Sandy. Special grandmother of Jess, Sam and Ryan. Loved sister-in-law of William and Diana. Many thanks to Karen, Simi and the wonderful team at Ivan Ward Centre for their amazing care and support. A service in celebration of Adrienne's life will be held at the Chapel of Christ the King, 43 Target Street, Pt Chevalier, Selwyn Village, at 10 am on Tuesday 4th February.

We sailed with Adrienne and AB through the Mediterranean and cruised up the Queensland coast together. Wherever in the world we found ourselves, Adrienne was always the calm, smart source of information, the solver of problems and the person who knew everyone. She was always dignified and curious and it was a delight to be in her company. She and AB were an admired couple and we were honoured to call them friends. They will always live in our memories; aways part of our wonderful cruising life.
