BAXTER, A R (Pat). WWII RAF 456657 LACW Peacefully on 3rd April 2015, after a brief illness, aged 92 years. Wife of the late Lionel (Len). Loved mother of Jonathan, Margaret and Henry, Cathy and Steve, Peter, Terry and Jilly. Nana of Jo, Lou, Julian, and Hannah. Great grandmother of Lavana, Zavier, and Summer. Requiescat In Pace A funeral mass will be celebrated in St Mary's Catholic Church, Seddon Street, Rotorua on Wednesday 8th April at 10.00am. This will be followed by interment in the RSA Section, Te Aroha Cemetery at 1pm. All communications to the Baxter Family C/- P O Box 926 Rotorua.

I remember, as a small boy in London, when I lived with Pat's mum (my gran) in the house Pat grew up in. There were lots of pictures of film stars that Pat had cut out. Lots of dress up clothes too. As a young woman she wanted to become an actress.
In the 1940's and 50's mum and gran used to look forward to receiving copies of the NZ Women's day that Pat would send 'back home'.
You will be sadly missed, Pat.
