UNASA - SU, Piula Alisa (nee Lefua). Born 19 September 1934. Passed away peacefully in Gisborne on 6 December 2021 surrounded by her family, gone to be with her Lord. Wife of the late Rev John Unasa Fa'alafua Su and mother of Rev Alisa Lasi and Rev Tau Lasi (Hamilton), Sam and Fuasou Su (Gisborne), Senior Constable Sarah Su (Auckland), the late Beulah Felicity Su, Unasa Jon Su and Kanako Sudo (Auckland),the late Felicity Sinoti Su, Tarako and Mereana Su (Gisborne), Lynette and Paul Lolohea (Gisborne). Grandmother of Tinei, Sammy-Jo, Jerome, Juliette, Lolani, John, Wesley, Piula, Jamahl, Nara, Jordan, Solomona, Siona, Ne'emia Aubrey, Nico, Mosiah, Kahurangi, Elijah, Ezra, Benaiah and Daequan. Great Grandmother of Peleiupu, Noatau, Aubrey Grace, Joachin,Te Kotuku, Kaiarahi, Syvannah-Mia, Alisa and Elisiva. Funeral service 10 am Thursday 9 December at Wesley Methodist Church, 453 Gladstone Road, Gisborne followed by a private family burial at Taruheru Cemetery.

Peace be with you Aunty Piula, God has honored you with Peace and Rest, I will always remember how happy you always were every time we visited you and how hard you worked for your family, Church and community, you were so loved by Tupe & Maude and us all, we so want to be there to share your children's grief as you all shared with my parents passing and in the future we will catch up because i so miss Gisborne and it's beaches, Manuia lou malaga Piula, Tofa Soifua.
