DRAFFIN, Lorna Victoria. Passed away at Whangarei Hospital on 5 October 2023, surrounded by her family. Dearly loved wife of the late Jack. Loved mother of Marilyn and the late Samuel. Cherished Nana of Ivy and Rhiannon. Treasured Nana Lorna of Lilly, Georgie, Leo, and Belle. Reunited with Jack and Samuel, and now you really are as good as gold. Funeral Prayers for Lorna will be celebrated at the St Francis Xavier Church, Kamo Road Kensington, Whangarei (entrance Park Avenue) at 11:00 am on Thursday 12th October 2023, followed by interment with her beloved Jack. Saddened to hear of the passing of your mum. We had lots of fun times over the years associated with the line gang gatherings and morning teas in town and sometimes at the marina. Always good reminiscing. With lots of love and caring thoughts.

Condolences to Marilyn and family on the sad loss of your mother Lorna. She was a well respected lovely lady in a small community which I was lucky to have shared time with through my son, Mark's friendship with Samuel when they attended primary school together 50 years ago. RIP Lorna.
