It has been a pleasure to share times with Kay. She was certainly an inspiration in all that she did and all that she achieved. Her stories of medical school days, her dedication to the psychiatric help need by many youngsters, the warmth of her care, understanding and hospitality and, of course, the eccentric wardrobe knew no bounds.
Colourful Kay will be sadly missed. I am so glad to have shared Dunedin days with her.

I´m sad to know that wonderful Kay is no longer in the world. I got to know her as a fellow member of the Otago University Staff Families Association in Dunedin, and valued her for her friendship, generosity, down to earth humour and fabulous style. Many from our group remember her with great affection.

Larger than life.Sensitive to others pains and difficulties. Always available to those in need. Kay went many extra miles in helping others. I well recall a patient she fitted out with a pair of her own boots , fashionable of course!
So full of kindness caring and thoughtfulness Kay was an important figure in my early days as a GP.
Many thanks Kay

A salute to wonderful Kay. She was such a support to us GPs in Nelson. And a pioneer in establishing community support for struggling families. She was also a valuable member of our GP support group. We loved those bright dresses, and of course her sense of humour. Best wishes to the wider family.
