So very sorry to read about Marty's passing in the Police News. One of the good guys and from a lovely Family. Suzie such a lovely lady. Remember a fantastic trip with Marty, Phil and Paul skiing on Mt Ruapehu years ago. Reg and Jan, Marty's parents so supportive to us. Great memories of the whole Family.

Hello, my name is Robert and I had a brief email conversation with Marty about a non funded drug, Daratumumab. We were going to chat by phone but it never happened. Now I know why. I'm very sorry for your tragic loss and wish we could have connected sooner. FYI I have AL Amyloidosis but am in remission thanks to Dara. To all Marty's whanau, Aroha Nui and Kia Kaha.

Same as Est (Leslie) Weir, I knew Marty and Phil years ago playing with the Tawa pipe band and he was such a lovely guy. Thoughts and sympathy are with Marty´s family.

So very sorry to hear this sad news. I knew Marty, many years ago, late 1970s to 80s. He learned to drum with us at Tawa pipe band , Phil learned the pipes. Sending much live and strength to you all.

I was so shocked to see Marty had passed. I was in wing 136 with Marty and have worked with him over the years when our paths crossed over intel matters. He was always so helpful and we could contact each other over the years like we had seen each other the day before. My heart goes out to his lovely family. He was a great guy. RIP Marty

We are so sorry to hear the sad news of Marty passing away. Our sincere condolences to you & you family. Cancer is such a horrible thing. Very close to home for us as well. The sailing community will surely miss him as will you. I will be bringing Gina back from Hospital on Thursday so unfortunately, we will not be able to come down. xx

Suzie I was so shocked to hear that Marty had lost his battle with life. I will miss him walking past my desk always with a smile. Thinking of you all tomorrow so sorry that I cannot be there. I will be in touch when we get back from Australia. Big hugs to you all. Xxx
