RICHARD LYKE Obituary

June 21, 1947 – November 19, 2024 Richard grew up in Wyoming, honing his spirit of adventure exploring Casper Mountain with his sister, Mary. After achieving his PhD in Chemistry from the University of Minnesota, his love of learning and commitment to personal growth led him to change careers in his early 40's to Psychotherapy, a career he pursued with dedication for over 30 years. Since the early 1980's, he chose to make London, Ontario, his home, and was deeply grateful for his profound friendships and the rich communities of which he was a part. These communities supported him in the exploration that was perhaps most deeply meaningful to him: learning how to move through this world with love and compassion for others and himself. He is survived by many friends and family, notably his beloved daughter, Claire. A celebration of life will be held in London on December 7th. For more information, write to [email protected].
