Most heartfelt condolences to Albert's family. I just came to know about Albert's passing from colleagues at work who knew Albert for many years as I did. Just in conversation with my colleague you could see the mark that Albert left on our lives. Anyone who knew Albert remembers him as the most kind hearted, compassionate and considerate person. His dedication to pharmacy practice, quality of patient care, and overall kindness was consistently seen in my time as a pharmacy resident at CAMH almost 20 years ago. I will never forget him and the impact he left on my life, both personally and professionally.

It breaks my heart to see that Albert has died. I have tried to find him at different times over the years but recently found the invitation to Rhonda and Albert´s wedding. When I googled with his middle name included, this obituary came up. I´m so sorry I never had the opportunity as an adult to thank Albert for his care and generosity when i was a kid. He was my Big Brother while he was in university and dating Rhonda. In later years I appreciated so much more what a handful it must have been to make time for me, her and his studies. He came into my life when I really needed an outside adult friend. He recognized and contributed to my love of music, taking me to concerts and movies. Seeing George Harrison´s Concert for Bangladesh film, Phantom of the Paradise, Fantastic Planet, records he bought me, music he played for me - and seeing him play his trombone - all very big influences on me. I am so thankful for his caring nature and how he helped me through a period of real family turmoil. Rhonda and Albert´s wedding is still one of the best ones I´ve been to in my life! Albert stomping that glass and the dancing afterward! So joyous. And some of my pet mice and guinea pigs came from the lab at U of T! I hope they had a better life with me! It was very memorable for me to be able to choose which one I wanted to take home. I remember his parents being really nice to me too, his dad showing me some of the fur process and giving me a fox head that I kept for more than thirty years! My love and condolences go out to Rhonda and their children. Albert was a very special man who had a great impact on my life. I´m so sad we never got to reunite.
