Leona Ruth Johnson, a loving mother and cherished educator, passed away surrounded by family on May 13, 2024. After serving in the Air Force, the couple relocated to Zealandia to work the Johnson family farm. Her teaching experience during this time includes kindergarten through grade 3 and in special education. She taught in many communities within Saskatchewan. Leona took a 10-year hiatus from teaching to being a stay-at-home mom, raising her children Kimberly, Laurie, and Kevin. Leona completed her postgraduate degree in Special Education at U of S.
