John and Bev LOVE

May 5, 2025

I was saddened to receive the notice of JOHN HARPER'S passing.
John was one of my oldest friends harking back when we played Sub-District Rugby Union with the Briar's Sporting Club at Burwood. They were halcyon days when we were members of the Rugby Teams that won the Sub-district Annual Club competition Shield, several years in a row.
During the time our growing families enjoyed regular friendship gatherings.

My early business days, I came closer to the family, when working with John's father who was a branch accountant with the Commercial Banking Company.
During the Summer our common interest was surfing on the Northern Beaches.

John now joins our many friends, where they say Rugby is a game played in Heaven.

Our deepest symphony and condolences to Sue and the family.

John was a great Australian.

Sincerely

John and Bev Love
