Aged 82 years
Loved brother of David and Ann and brother-in-law of Gareth (dec) and Maya. Greatly treasured husband and soulmate of Llayna.
Adored father of Vaughan, Gareth, Bethan, Brynley and Shan and father-in-law of Emma. Much loved "Taid" of Owen, Cai. Lloyd and Haydn.
A cherished part of our lives, the memory of his unwavering love, kindness and dedication to his family, friends, colleagues and patients will remain with us always.
Family and friends are warmly invited to attend Griff's Funeral Service to be held on Friday 21st February 2025, All Saints Church, Corner of Ferry and Ambrose Streets, Hunters Hill at 12.00pm.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Griff's Memory to the Rheumatology Research Trust Fund.

I was Dr Richard's patient from 1996 until he retired and have only just learned that he passed away earlier this year, such very sad news. He was the lovliest, kindest man and wise ,dedicated doctor. I will never forget him.
I send my sincerest condolences to his family and friends.

I was a patient of Dr Richards at his Burwood NSW practice back in 2021. I was trying to book an appointment today to see him when I found out he was no more. My most sincere condolences to his family, friends and everyone associates with him. A big loss to the community and medical profession; a human being with Dr Richards' humility and personality traits are very rare in the current world today. He was the most gentle, caring and patient doctor I have ever seen in my life. May he R.I.P .

Just a great person and Doctor.
Never in a rush and great to have a yarn with. Extremely knowledgeable person and will be missed. His staff were exceptional and loyal. Though only a patient I will miss him.
