William KING Obituary

KING, William Roy. 12 October 1914 - 20 July 2018. Husband of the late Joan Alice King. Loved father and father-in-law of John (deceased) and Pat, Graham (deceased) and Sue (now McKinney), Bryan and Catherine, Leon and Gloria, Janice (deceased) and Henley Davis, Michael and Bronwyn, Yvonne and Neil Beney, Peter and Heather, Paul and Annie. A man who loved to play the harmonica to his grand and great grandchildren. He had a life long passion for fishing and hunting. A service will be held in the Chapel of Morris and Morris Funerals (entrance 17 Western Hills Dr), Whau Valley, Whangarei at 1.30pm on Saturday 28th July 2018 followed by private cremation. In lieu of flowers donations sent to NZ Coastguard, PO Box 2195, Shortland Street, Auckland 1140, would be appreciated. A special thank you to all the staff at Parahaki Court Rest Home for their loving care and attention. All communications to the King Family, c/- P.O. Box 8043, Kensington, Whangarei 0145.

To my cousins,

I was sorry to read of Uncle Roy's death. I have some lovely photos of him and Auntie Joan taken some years ago when I visited with Mum and Dad. He was always a smiling, positive and energetic man.
