Lorraine, Dion, Nicola and whanau, I so wish I was there with you all just as you were all there for us.
To my mate, Nicola kia kaha it's true what they, say time does heal all wounds. The only down side is we don't get to choose how long. Love you more than you know.
Kare,
All my childhood memories consists of either a Kingi or a Goldring in them. I am grateful to have had you in my life. Will never forget all the Saturday's travelling around South Auckland with the President's rugby all the laughing and singing, the rides to Primary school, netball, discos the Forge. But most importantly the example you, Lorraine, Aunty Anna, Uncle Goldy, mum and dad showed what it was to be good friends.
Trips home will never be the same.

I had the honour and pleasure of serving with Kare in the early 70s, and as a Young Officer I cherished the support and loyalty which he gave. He was always cheerful and I will always remember him.
Love and my sincere condolences to all his family.
