Dear Lester and Sheree

I was sorry to hear of Ray's passing. He was a great friend to Neil and was always a source of fun and wit.

I'm sorry I'm unable to attend the funeral tomorrow but I'm sure it will be a wonderful celebration of a life well lived.

Uncle Ray, you were a very special Uncle to John and I. Very generous and a wonderful sense of humour and kindness. Our memories go back many years, the highlights are: 12/6/71 you gave me away at our wedding, I still remember you at Princess Street, trying to rush up a the photo time, as there was no way I was going to be late to the Church while in your charge ❤❤ Then the Pebble Tex wall features you and Aunty Jean gave us as a gift when we had built our 1st home in 1973, we are forever thankful. Then our nice visits to you and Aunty Jean at Devon St, Buckland Beach, you were often missing at Bowls . Then the visits when you lost your sole mate Aunty Jean, at Wattle Down, Beachlands then at Bruce McLaren Retirement Village, The lovely memories go on and on. Thank you and enjoy catching up with Aunty Jean, Roger, all your sisters who have gone before, only my Mum left
I am sure there will be a bowling green up there in heaven, for you to enjoy.
Rest In Peace Uncle Ray ❤
