Amazing memories from this grand lady as a teacher at Mercer Primary. She exposed small town kids to a big wide world and probably gave most of us our first taste of life experiences through her own. She did this by a lot of story telling and sharing articles, things from overseas, photos. Anyway during that we did learn all that we were meant to as well! Very cool years, great teacher and very grateful she was mine. Thanks Mrs Cheyne. Have and will never forget you. RIP, love Helen Bell (nee Grogan). xox
