McKINNON, Joyce Beatrice (Joy) (nee Thompson). Passed away peacefully 13th January 2018, in her 80th year. Cherished wife of Donald. Much loved mother of Gaelene, Ian and Gill, and Wendy. Adored grandmother of Zachary, Elijah, Angus, Alexander, and Jamie-Leigh. Beloved daughter of the late George and Thelma, and sister of Alan and Nola, Barry and Anna, and Ian and Jannet. A celebration of Joy's life will be held at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, 58 Hokianga Road, Dargaville, on Friday, 19th January 2018, at 1:00pm, followed by a private cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations (in memory of Joy) to Alzheimers New Zealand (Northland branch), PO Box 7027, Tikipunga, Whangarei 0144, would be appreciated.
