BROWN, Eric (Alan). Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on 28th April 2017, aged 88 years. Dearly loved husband of June (deceased), treasured and respected father and father-in-law of Sue (deceased) and Bill Harris, Gavin and Maree, Les and Julie, Tony and Jan. Cherished Grandad of 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Special thanks to all those involved in Alan's care. "A passionate and accomplished saxophonist has played his last tune." A service to celebrate Alan's life will be held at the Te Awamutu Bible Chapel, Chapel Drive, Te Awamutu, on Thursday, 4th May 2017 at 11am followed by burial at Te Awamutu Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a donation to Hospice Waikato would be appreciated and may be left at the service or mailed to P O Box 325, Waikato Mail Centre 3240.
