A special person and a teacher with a difference. Her legacy is the number of people who teach English as a second language in a way that thinks first of the learner and they way they will use the language rather than all the rules they will probably never learn.

BROWN Dorothy. Thank you for all the tremendous work you did for TESOL in Australia and New Zealand over many years, (and, on a personal note, for helping me find my first job when I first arrived in Australia in 1983). With love and many memories of a wonderful woman, Pauline Gibbons.
