Alva BLAKE Obituary

BLAKE, Alva May (nee Aitken) Passed away in her 72nd year, peacefully at home (Ngatea) on 15th April 2015, after a short illness. Former wife of Dennis, loving Mum of Tammy and Karyn, Grandma of Danielle, Candace and Bradley. "Breathe easy now, Mum." In lieu of flowers donations to the Cancer Society Lion's Lodge, 32 Tainui St, Hamilton 3204 would be appreciated and may be left at the service. A service for Alva will be held at Graham's Funeral Home Chapel, West Street, Tuakau on Tuesday, the 21st of April 2015 at 11:00 AM followed by the burial at the Tuakau Cemetery, Tuakau.

Blake, Alva May. Loved niece of Isobel (Aunty Bibby) (Auckland). Loved cousin of Terry (Auckland),Jean (Hamilton), Bryan (Hamilton), Allan (Brisbane), Craig (Brisbane), Marlene (Sydney) - The "Siviter" family. We will all remember your cheerful laugh and smile and of course your holey work socks. Fondest memories will last forever.

BLAKE, Alva May (nee Aitken) Passed away 15 April 2015 at home. Only daughter of the late Bill and Muriel Aitken, (formerly of Aitkens Road, off Frost Road, Te Kohanga). Treasured sister and sister-in-law of Peter (Pukekohe), Ronny and Glenis (Tuakau), Colin (Mount Roskill), the late Tony and Rita and later Margaret; Leslie and Leone and Kenny. Loved by her many nieces and nephews and Grand nieces and nephews and Great Gran nephew. Fondest memories linger forever, always in our hearts Alva. Arohanui, Ronny, Glenis and whanau.
