Dear Stephen and family, my heartfelt condolences for the sad loss of Trevor. They are taken from us too soon for us to be prepared for the loss, but I know Trevor has left your family so many fabulous memories that in time will fill your hearts with fond happier times to recall and slowly bring laughter back to you when you think of him. Sorry I was not able to attend the funeral to farewell Trevor on his final lap. Kindest regards Wendy Jolly and Kirsten Rutherford

To Noeleen, Stephen, Suzanne, Donna and Trevor's extended family,
What a treasure you have lost but how wonderful to have shared your lives with this great guy. In all my years in the thoroughbred industry I have never heard a bad word spoken of Trevor. He has always been so respected as a man, husband, father, grandfather, and friend. His ability as a horse trainer is unquestioned as too, his integrity.
The photo I have put up is of the trip we did to England and Ireland Noeleen, what a fantastic trip it was, Royal Ascot, Newmarket, The Curragh were just some of the highlights. I was struck then and have been since at what a great team you and Trevor were. I will so miss seeing his cheery face at the races.
Sadly, I cannot be with you tomorrow but my love and thoughts will be.

Rest in peace Trevor, will miss those discussions with you thoroughbred versus standardbred while waiting to get our hair cut in Papakura. A gentleman of the first order as we would say. Condolences to the family and he has earned his rest.

Guess Grandad knew a bit about horses and men.
Look where those two got to.

Couple of Memories.
At the age of 8/9 I must of always been in the road around the stables because I remember quite a few kicks in the rear.
I liked to fly kites and unfortunately deposited it over the power lines.
Got advised to hide as the cops were coming to get me.
Two apprentices decided a swimming pool in the back yard beside the path between the house and stables.Substantial amount of soil removed.
Heavy rain sets in for a couple of days.
Horses playing up in the stable
s in the middle of the night.
Grandad takes off for the stables maybe 30 metres away.
Guess what he fell in.
Guess what got filled in.
I remember it like it was yesterday

Bit of Grand Larceny.

One of grandads race horses/broodmares name was Parade
Recently seen running around in McKee colours some 50 years later one Parade.
Not as good as the original.
I guess Trevor had fond memories of his early connection to our Family.
Our Family has always been exceptionally proud of Trevor's Lifetime of achievements and our small parts in their start

RIP
Trevor
