HEWITT, Ronald Arthur (Ron). Passed away peacefully in his 89th year at Ranfurly Hospital in Auckland on 13th January 2018 after a long illness. Ron, born 10th March 1929, was the beloved husband of Dawn, loving father to Helen, Christine, Joss and Rhonda. Father-in-law to the late Martin Logan, Stuart Jones, Ross Goodall and Neil Stanford. Grandfather to Abbie, Shannon and Jess, Kimberlie, the late Joshua and Latham, Rachael and Sarah and great-grandfather to Zoe, Alyssa and Logan, Amelia Rose, Lucas and Dawn. There will be a celebration of Ron's life at 1.30pm Saturday 20th January at Grange Manor Chapel, 400 Dominion Rd, Mt Eden. Ron will be greatly missed but we know he is now with the Lord. Many thanks to the nursing staff and care givers at Ranfurly Hospital for their kindness, care and dedication in looking after Ron.
