Jack VERNON Obituary

VERNON, Jack Leslie. 7th Baron Lyveden of Lyveden. Chief Fire Officer Te Aroha (Ret). Jack passed away peacefully at Te Aroha Hospital surrounded by family on Monday, 18th December 2017. Loved husband of Lyn, father to Wendy, Karen and Colin. Father in law to Grant and Rachel. Grandfather of Daniel and Josh, Alex, Adam and Ashlee. Great Grandfather to Meiah and Lettie, the late Micheal, Jack and Isabella, william and Ari. Big brother to Robert and Grant. "Will be Greatly missed." A service to celebrate the life of Jack will be held on Sunday, 24th December, at 10am, in Te Aroha RSA, Rewi Street, Te Aroha. Followed by a private cremation. In lieu of flowers donations to Te Aroha Hospital, would be greatly appreciated and can be left at the service. All communications c/- the Vernon family to 6 Tamihana St, Matamata.

VERNON, Jack Leslie (Jack) (Baron). Respected life honorary member and Ex C.F.O. of the Te Aroha Volunteer Fire Brigade. Joined 16th June 1959 retired as C.F.O. 16th June 1994.C.F.O. from 1987-1994.
