I'm really sad about the loss of Ben. One of the good guys, so kind. I remember him in his teens and early twenties, he was very creative, a leader and great to be around.
Go well.

To my Higher Power & all the Angels please wrap my friend Ben in your loving embrace, hold on tight to him while he now watches over his love, Nat & gift of a daughter - his family, and many friends. I don't understand why you've been taken from us now, but I can feel you in my heart, and pray I always will. I hope you are at peace, and will pray for that. Love & tears for now.x

You were the best Ben! You were part of our family and we loved you like a son--such a gentle loving spirit and so very talented and respected. We have lost such a good man. Juliet is still talking to you on the phone and misses you so much--maybe you can hear her--you were such an amazing Daddy. Adrian and I will take care of your girls and keep them safe. You have left such a big hole in so many people's lives. You will be in our hearts forever. Rest in peace Bad Boy Benney.

To Ben's family and especially partner and daughter - with great sadness my family and I send our thoughts and prayers to you all at this the saddest of times. I only knew Ben for a short time with some ups and downs but I enjoyed the moments with him when we were both flying during our recording sessions. Will certainly dedicate a song to Ben on the album we started together but will not finish with him. May God bless and Keep Ben's family in His care.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Bens passing.
Ben and I met at Intermediate and connected on many levels especially a strong desire to play music. We shared many good times and adventures together.
Ben had a positive energy and determination like no one I've known.
I can remember the first time I saw Ben.It was morning assembly at Heaton Intermediate,1980.Ben was on the stage belting out an energetic tune on guitar. He stopped mid-tune to throw the guitar off stage.Suddenly a ukelele came sailing through the air into Bens hands which he carried the tune on with. This trick was repeated until the end of the performance. He clearly loved being on stage and had natural showmanship.I was impressed. My relationship with Ben began that day.
Ben and I did music together off and on for ten years. In spirit Ben and I were very close and it's so tragic that he is gone.
My heartfelt condolences go out to his family.

You were only just beginning with so much more to do. You were my brother from another, mother won't mind and you have left a cavernous whole that will take longer than I know to fill.

To Natalie, Juliet, Helen & Mike, you were blessed with a boy that became a fine, fine man.
