John WILLIAMSON Obituary

WILLIAMSON, John Keith. Born March 31, 1951. Passed away on June 10, 2018. John's final act played out at the Kaikohe Care Centre, his final bow at 1pm on the 10th June, 2018. He had been produced by Joyce and Jock Williamson of Pirongia (Te Awamutu), with co-starring siblings, Heather, Ian, Bruce and Stuart. His subplot consisted of in-laws Steve and Peggi; nephews and nieces Ahren, Jared, Niki, Azure-Dea and Ben. John had a supporting cast of amazing friends from the wonderful community of KeriKeri. We are incredibly saddened by his final curtain call. He will be remembered at The Packhouse, KeriKeri on Wednesday 20th June at 2pm.

It was a joy to see the many kind comments left by John's friends and acquaintances on The Old Packhouse Market FB page. He was a lovely, kind and funny man 40 years ago. Good to see he still hadn't changed after all these years.

I remember John as a lovely, kind hearted man. He married my auntie when I was 4 and was adored by all the family. Unfortunately due to other circumstances the last time I saw him was about 30 years ago. It was so sad to learn of his passing yesterday. Rest in peace John.
