Harry ANDERSON Obituary

ANDERSON, Harry Douglas (Doug). Born October 28, 1926. Died peacefully Saturday October 15 at North Shore Hospital after short illness. Loved husband of Rae (deceased), stepfather to Sharon, Perry (deceased), and Glenn. Poppa to Luke, Jones and Greta, Felisha and Dylan. Great Poppa to Sian, Jett and Sophia. A keen sportsman - the last of the 1947 Ex-Kiwis, and played in the World Cup team of 1954. Was in the Manukau-Greenlane club. Played cricket and loved swimming. Keen TAB man. Bird and animal lover. Loved the sun! Had a great sense of humour. Many thanks to Deliah, Dr Cecil and Justine, Peter, Scott and Darren. Special thanks to his dear friend Ray Cranch. Thank you for all the support and friendship each of you gave to Doug. Very appreciated. Also staff of Ward 6 for their care and attention. Private cremation. Communications to S.
