You took me in when I had no where to go, let me stay with you for far too long and you were a good friend.
Such a beautiful soul with a giant heart.

Shannon was a beautiful soul who cam into my life when we were both in our early 20's in Sioux City, Iowa. Fate took you away the 1st time when you moved to Hawkes Bay New Zealand to avoid some troubles. I have searched often for you since then. 30 plus years have now passed and I have located you again only to learn that fate has separated you forever. I know little of your life over that span but I can see that you were loved and have had love in your life. Rest well my old friend.

Thank you so much for being you. I learnt alot from you my friend,you always made me laugh and smile.
I will always remember you and the great times we shared, your smile and cheeky self will remain a wonderful memory.
sometime soon my friend,i know our souls will reunite.

Shannon, it was devastating to learn of your untimely passing, more so because I was sure we would meet again in this realm to get to enjoy a weekend together... You will rest in peace my man. Played together as little kids in Sioux City Iowa. I haven't seen him in a number of years but have fond memories of our youth. Rest In Peace cousin!

My darling Shannon, we argued and laughed about it for 28 years. Thankfully now I'm too old to worry about how to apply fake tan correctly or a touch of white in my eyes to make them pop! He who never hurt anyone and had a heart of gold, I'm so sorry to his family because I spent long enough with him to know how much he loved you. I'll never forget you huunneeee ❤

To my old friend, may you rest in peace . Had so many laugh working with you on the ferry. In wellington many many years ago . I'll never forget when we finished one night and pick up by a taxi, the driver looked at us both in the rear view mirror and asked us both had the ferry finished for the night . With in a heart beat you said ....THIS ONE HAS'NT ... Lol . I'll never forget it as long as I live. I hope U are watching down to your love ones at this sad time .. love Simon sherlock...xx
