VA'AFUSUAGA, Richard Xavier Iakopo. Born 12th October 1961. Passed away peacefully on 18th December 2018. Much loved Father of Jessie and Alex Taefu, Jacob, Ianeta and Ricky Va'afusuaga. Grandfather of Julius, Hosanna, Tatum, Elijah and Hadassah. Much loved Brother and in law of the late Denis, Anita, Emile, Sarah, Olsen, Jane, Greg, Christine, Sarah, Steve, Annie, Sally and Daisy. Son of the late Saefu and the late Sivilaise Va'afusuaga. Uncle to many and friend to all. A Family service to Celebrate Richard's life will be held at the Grace Redeemer Church in Flat Bush, Auckland 30 Hilltop Road from 6pm-9pm on Saturday 22nd December followed by a Memorial Service on Sunday 23rd December from 11am - 1pm at the Manukau Memorial Gardens Chapel 361 Puhinui Road, Papatoetoe, Auckland. I am so sorry to hear this news. Richard was kind to me when I knew him years ago. For a short ime, we were in a band together. He was fun, musical and always warm and generous. I wish you all didn't have to go through this loss. Blessings and love to you.

VA'AFUSUAGA, Taloolevavau Iakopo Richard (Richie). Beloved son of the late Soamauli Saefu Taumata and Sivilaise Toe (nee Saena) Va'afusuaga. Born October 12th 1961. Passed away peacefully in the loving care of his family at home on December 18th 2018. Much loved father of Jessie and Alex, Jacob, Ianeta and Ricky. Adored papa of Julius, Hossanah, Elijah, Tatum and Hadassah. Inspirational brother to the late Denis and Anita, Toleafoa Emil and Sarah, Tuiafutea Olsen and Jane, Anauli Greg and Chris, Sarah Sala and Steve, Annie, Sally, Daisy and families.
